A Family

Community should be more than just a buzzword. We want to be more than just friends or a group of people who gather together. We are family. That means that like any family it is sometimes messy or difficult, but that we aim to love one another sacrificially, honestly, and unconditionally.

Defined by the Love of God

The most important thing about us is that God loves us. The most important thing about you is that God loves you. The one central, defining aspect of all of human history is God's love. We aim to live out of that truth so when people see us, they see the love of God and when we see others, we see God's love for them as well. 

Committed to Giving it Away

We are loved by God so that we can be free to love others. We don't love expecting anything in return or out of religious duty, but in gratitude for the love God has given us. We love by sharing the good news of God's love and being good citizens of the Kingdom of God in our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and world. 

Meaningful Gatherings

We gather regularly as a family. We do this to celebrate, better understand, and even experience the love that God has for us. We do this through singing together, studying God's word, and taking communion. Friendly Groups

We believe community is love over time. By that, we mean that true, life-changing community is found in small groups who love God and spend time together.  It is not easy, it is often messy, but it is how we were meant to live and it can change our lives. 

Intentional Living

Our lives should reflect what we believe. In fact, if God is as real, powerful, and invested in our lives as we claim he is, then we should live first and foremost as citizens of that reality, of the Kingdom of God. We seek to live as good citizens of the Kingdom of God in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and our world. 

Join a Group

Groups are the heart of all we do at Dwell and are a great way for you to connect with other people in the city in a deep and meaningful way. Our groups split their time between sharing meals, helping one another look more like Jesus, serving their community, and enjoying time together.
